The Embassy in Ecuador thanked this Wednesday President Lenín Moreno and Foreign Minister Luís Gallegos Chiriboga, for accepting the credentials of the Venezuelan diplomat, Héctor Guillermo Quintero Montiel.
The ambassador’s office also recognized Ecuador’s help to all Venezuelan migrants who arrive in their lands fleeing the humanitarian crisis promoted by Nicolas Maduro’s regime.
“We are grateful for welcoming with the open arms of our nations brotherhood the thousands of Venezuelan migrants now residing in Ecuador and maintaining the best diplomatic relations, always supporting freedom, respect for human rights and democracy,” the diplomatic office said through its official Twitter account.
This Tuesday, at the Carondelet Palace, President Moreno received the letters of credence that make official Hector Guillermo Quintero Montiel as Venezuela’s ambassador to Ecuador.
Quintero was appointed last February 18th, by the National Assembly (NA), as the new diplomatic representative in the South American country.
