The Presidential Commissioner for Human Rights, Humberto Prado, demanded immediate medical attention for journalist Roland Carreño after suffering an hypertensive crisis.
“Today marks 315 since he was arbitrarily detained by Nicolás Maduro’s regime,” he recalled through his Twitter account.
Commissioner Prado blamed Nicolás Maduro’s regime and his accomplices for the deterioration and violation of Carreño’s rights, suffered since he was kidnapped.
“Who ordered him to be imprisoned? The judges, prosecutors and police bodies, a whole chain that will respond in due course. Justice is slow but it always comes, there will be justice,” he stated.
The journalist and political leader, Roland Carreño, suffered an hypertensive crisis last Thursday without receiving medical attention from the PNB officials where he is currently kidnapped.
