The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, reaffirmed that Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship protects irregular armed groups in Venezuela.
“Maduro protects armed gangs as we have seen in Apure and as is repeated in Caracas,” he said through his Twitter account.
The national leader alleged that the regime does not control the national territory and that the safety of the country “got out of their hands.”
That is why he reiterated the need for a National Salvation Agreement that guarantees the security and territorial integrity of the country.
This Monday, there was a new armed confrontation between the security forces of the dictatorship and criminal armed gangs in ‘La Vega’ neighborhood in the city of Caracas.
On the other hand, last Sunday the director of the NGO Fundaredes, Javier Tarazona, denounced a new kidnapping of a group of Venezuelan army officials at the hands of the Dissident FARC in Apure State.
