The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, condemned the attempts of Daniel Ortega’s regime to eliminate the democratic alternative in Nicaragua.
“We will continue to denounce each outrage and call for the necessary action of the free world,” he said through his Twitter account.
The national president reiterated the need for action by the international community to prevent these totalitarian regimes from continuing to act with impunity.
Along the same lines, the Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Relations, Julio Borges, asked to deploy efforts to prevent anti-democratic actions from continuing to occur in Nicaragua.
“Already 4 presidential candidates have been detained in Nicaragua by Ortega’s regime to block the holding of free elections,” he said.
