The director of the NGO Fundaredes, Javier Tarazona, denounced that a second group of soldiers have been kidnapped by the Dissident FARC, in La Victoria, Apure State.
Tarazona reported that four members af the armed force were kidnapped from the military medical pavilion, identified as Lieutenant Commander (Navy) Rea and three female officers: SM3 Yanes, S1 Padilla and S1 Caraballo.
“This officers moved on May 20th, 2021 to vaccinate the troops of the army command in this area, but they were intercepted by the FARC terrorists,” he said while denouncing that they mistreated, kidnapped, and dispossessed them of all vaccines.
The director of the NGO added that these troops were handed over after six in the afternoon to the commander of the Fanb who traveled from Guasdualito to La Victoria.
This Sunday, May 23rd, marks a month since the first kidnapping of eight Venezuelan soldiers by the Dissident FARC, a group recognized and supported by Nicolás Maduro’s regime that kept silent about this event for more than 20 days .
